Plant Equipment Reliability Technician
Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a local employer in Corsicana, TX to add a seasoned professional to their maintenance team.
A day in this role
Your morning might start with a preventive check on a diesel-powered unit, pivot to tracing a pneumatic fault on a production line, then wrap up by reading a schematic to support a facility system modification. You are the person who keeps machines running and the operation safe.
What you will do
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, heavy machinery, tools, and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and diesel systems to reduce downtime.
- Diagnose equipment and building issues and deliver timely, effective fixes.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to guide work.
- Support equipment and facility installations, repairs, and modifications .
- Document maintenance activities and parts usage with accuracy.
- Conduct routine inspections to surface maintenance needs and safety risks.
- Ensure all work aligns with company safety practices and OSHA regulations .
- Keep the workspace clean, orderly, and safe.
- Take on additional maintenance tasks as assigned.
What you bring
- Hands-on background in maintenance mechanic, maintenance technician, production maintenance, and/or heavy equipment mechanic roles.
- Deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair diverse equipment and building/facility systems.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with keen attention to detail.
- Reliable self-starter who works well independently and within a team.
