Equipment Operator
Staffmax is assisting our client in hiring a dependable and skilled Equipment Operator for a 5-month contract. This role plays a key part in day-to-day production and is ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined and take pride in precision and efficiency.
Contract Length: 5 MonthsLocation: Austin, TX
Key Responsibilities:
Operate manufacturing or packaging machinery safely and effectively
Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure product quality
Inspect finished products for defects and adherence to specifications
Conduct basic maintenance and troubleshooting of machines
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Accurately complete production logs and shift reports
Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Qualifications:
Previous experience operating industrial or production machinery
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Safety-conscious with a solid understanding of operational guidelines
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
