Your New Role

  • Lead crews of 2 to 10 electricians on commercial electrical projects in Austin, Texas, and within a 30-mile radius

  • Oversee day-to-day jobsite operations, productivity, and safety

  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for accurate installations

  • Ensure all work complies with NEC standards and local electrical codes

  • Plan and schedule daily and weekly tasks for your crew

  • Coordinate manpower needs and evaluate crew performance

  • Perform material takeoffs and manage just-in-time material delivery

  • Communicate with project managers, site supervisors, and field personnel

  • Utilize project management platforms such as Procore, when applicable, to track progress and documentation

  • Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License issued by TDLR

  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on commercial electrical work experience is required

  • 6 to 12 months of lead journeyman or job-running responsibility preferred

  • Proven ability to lead crews and oversee commercial job sites

  • Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes

  • Experience with manpower planning, scheduling, and time management

  • Familiarity with material takeoffs and jobsite logistics

  • Experience with Procore or similar construction management platforms preferred

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
