About the role

A growing litigation-focused law office in Houston is hiring a Legal Administrative Assistant with 35 years of experience supporting litigation attorneys in a law firm or corporate legal department. This position provides comprehensive administrative and litigation support to multiple attorneys and is structured as a hybrid role based out of the Houston office

26 years as a litigation-focused legal administrative assistant, including experience docketing deadlines for hearings, mediations, and trials.

Hands-on experience preparing and proofreading litigation documents such as pleadings and discovery, ideally across multiple practice areas.

Background in legal or paralegal studies and proficiency with e-filing legal documents in relevant courts.

Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Houston, manage competing priorities for several attorneys, and operate with minimal supervision.

We avoid candidates who need constant direction or whose experience is exclusively in non-litigation areas.

Qualifications:

Hybrid work flexibility in Houston with a steady 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday.?
