Account Manager

- Manage a group of customers to achieve designated sales target levels.
- Develop profitable business with new and existing customers.
- Possess and apply detailed product knowledge as well as thorough knowledge of client's business.
- Responsible for the direct sales process, aiming at meeting and/or exceeding sales targets.
- Will introduce new products/services to clients and organize visits to current and potential clients.
- Submit short and long-range sales plans and prepare sales strategies utilizing available marketing programs to reach nominated targets.
- Responsible for retaining long-term customer relationships with established clients.
- Ensure that clients receive high quality customer service.
- Inform clients of new products and services as they are introduced.
- Migrate information to appropriate sales representative when clients have additional service needs.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or other relevant field or equivalent experience
- 2 years of experience in the oilfield industry
- Working knowledge of ESP sizing
- Excellent customer relations skills including the ability to explain and train
- Consistently demonstrate the following competencies: customer focus, time management, priority setting, problem solving, negotiation skills and decision quality
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present, persuade, and collaborate
- Interact politely and professionally with customers and coworkers
- Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements; encourage action assuring safe behavior; confront unsafe behavior and conditions proactively and positively
- Work in excess of 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week, as required to meet business needs
- Work under general supervision
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Read, write, and speak English fluently

- The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading.
- The employee is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles.
- The employee is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures.
