Radiologic Technologist Job Details

• Location: Dallas, TX 75237 (Dallas healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Breast Center – Mammography
• Assignment Type: Travel Contract
• Start Date: September 1, 2025
• End Date: December 1, 2025
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8-hour days)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,170 – $2,230 per week

Mammography Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Mammography Technologist or Radiologic Technologist
• Previous charge technologist experience required
• Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications (Radiologic Technologist, Mammography)
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Texas State Radiologic Technologist license (Texas healthcare jobs)
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Experience with 3-D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Digital Mammography, Fine Needle Aspirations, Hologic 3D, Stereotactic Biopsy, and Needle Localizations
• Familiarity with inpatient and outpatient settings, isolation precautions, and universal precautions/core measures
• Community hospital, LTAC, and trauma level I/II experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Radiology Job Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mammography exams and procedures, including screening and diagnostic mammograms
• Assist with fine needle aspirations, stereotactic biopsies, and needle localizations as needed
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, following all radiation safety and infection control protocols
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in the Epic electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care
• Maintain and troubleshoot mammography equipment, reporting malfunctions promptly
• Adhere to all regulatory, facility, and radiology department guidelines
