Location: Pampa, TX Pay: $24/hour + up to $50/day meal reimbursement Schedule: Full-time, overtime available

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and experienced CDL-A Flatbed Driver with a HazMat endorsement to join our team in Pampa, TX . This position requires hands-on flatbed experience, strong load‑securement skills, and the ability to operate safely and efficiently across regional routes. Drivers will operate an automatic transmission sleeper truck and support customer needs throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL-A flatbed truck with automatic transmission

• Transport materials to regional destinations including Odessa, Milford, Oklahoma City, Colorado, Utah , and similar locations

• Perform all flatbed load‑securement tasks, including:

  • Tarping

  • Strapping

  • Chaining (as needed)

  • Ensuring loads meet DOT and company safety standards

• Maintain accurate logs and communicate effectively with dispatch

• Follow all safety protocols, especially regarding HazMat materials

• Provide professional customer service at delivery sites

Flatbed Experience Requirements

This role requires true flatbed experience . Candidates must be proficient in:

• Tarping and securing loads in varying weather conditions

• Using straps, chains, binders, and edge protection

• Understanding weight distribution and load balance

• Working safely on and around the trailer deck

Important: Experience only with tanker trucks will not meet the requirements for this position. Flatbed work is physically demanding and requires specific skills that differ significantly from tanker operations.

Schedule & Travel Expectations

• Regional routes only — no East Coast travel

• Drivers are home most nights , but occasional overnight trips are required

• Some trips may involve 1–2 nights away , but never extended multi‑week travel

• Weekend work may be required based on customer demand

• Weekend time off can be scheduled in advance

• Consistent overtime opportunities available

Compensation & Benefits

• $24/hour

• Up to $50/day meal reimbursement

• Sleeper truck provided; hotel accommodations available when needed

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license

• HazMat endorsement required

• Documented flatbed experience required

• Ability to work a flexible schedule

• Strong commitment to safety and compliance

• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with flatbed load securement
