Picture this: revolutions in waste reduction processes that you drive!
- Guiding Waste Transformation: You'll orchestrate the transformation of waste streams to optimize material usage efficiently.
- Data Input: Conduct and evaluate daily waste data entries to ensure accurate tracking of material flows.
- Change Advocacy: Lead continuous improvement initiatives alongside key stakeholders to embed lean principles across the site.
- Annual Waste Reduction: Utilize lean methodologies to cut waste by 5% each year, working directly with operations teams.
- Building Engaged Cultures: Enrich and maintain a culture of high involvement and best practice adoption.
- Goal Achievement: Execute and oversee projects to align with and fulfill overarching corporate targets.
- Improving Waste Processes: Spot inefficiencies in reporting and work towards seamless integration of improved methods.
- Cycle Counting: Perform inventory counts and meticulously address discrepancies to uphold inventory integrity.
- Insight Generation: Share statistical insights with management and facilitate problem-solving sessions.
- Action-Driven: Drive actionable improvements based on waste evaluations to operational teams.
- Record Keeping: Administrative tasks arise, adding variety to the daily workflow.
Educational Requisites:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or GED; advanced education in a related area or associated professional development is favorable.
- Experience spanning at least 3 years in focused fields is mandatory, with a preference for experiences involving corrugated materials.
- Skilled at reading, interpreting, and drafting reports and procedural manuals.
- Capable of applying mathematical concepts in practical scenarios.
- Analyzing situations to anticipate waste-related challenges and opportunities is a critical skill.
- Proficient with essential software tools, particularly Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Working Conditions:
- Must handle physical activity, including standing and walking, amidst varying environmental factors.
- Vision capabilities are vital for task completion.
- Anticipate exposure to potentially high noise levels, necessitating adherence to safety protocols.
