Safety Coordinator
Snelling is seeking a Safety Coordinator in Grand Prairie on 1st shift.
Safety & Facilities Coordinator
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm (some weekends/nights as needed for emergencies)
Pay: $19/hr
We are seeking a Safety & Facilities Coordinator to support daily warehouse operations by ensuring a safe, compliant, and well-maintained facility. This role assists with OSHA and regulatory compliance, monitors building and equipment conditions, and coordinates maintenance and contractor activities. The position also performs routine safety checks and helps maintain accurate safety records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support safety programs and assist with OSHA compliance
- Monitor facility conditions and coordinate repairs/maintenance
- Work with contractors for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and janitorial needs
- Conduct routine inspections (fire extinguishers, first aid kits, safety areas)
- Maintain safety documentation and incident reporting
- Help ensure a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
Requirements:
- 2+ years of safety experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and basic building codes
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
- Computer proficiency (Word, Excel)
- Dependable and able to support occasional emergency after-hours needs
